Originally there were only 5 of these light weight race cars built for the ultimate purpose of winning the GT class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As with all of our cars Superformance supplies a complete car less engine and transmission.
Superformance is therefore very proud to announce that Lingenfelter with their years of experience in the Performance industry have developed engine packages to compliment the Corvette Grand Sport offering both incredible Performance and Style.
Ken Lingenfelter's own Corvette Grand Sport recently shipped and will soon be fitted with one of their awesome power packages. The engine for this car is based off the GM LS7 with LS3 Heads utilizing Holly Dual Quad Fuel Injection. Custom Lingenfelter 2 Piece Valve Covers with Integrated Coil Packs and Black Anodized Accessory Drive. It will produce 600HP with 600Lbs. Ft. Torque.
Currently you will have an opportunity to see an example of the Corvette Grand Sport as Superformance will have a brand new roller on display with Lingenfelter at the Bloomington Gold Corvette Car Show in Indianapolis. Lingenfelter also have an engine on a stand for perusal.
