This year’s Texas Cobra Meet was filled with excitement and a lot of camaraderie as always! Cobra Car lovers joined from 20 USA states and attracted owners from Mexico and Canada as well. Some owners attended to a track day at Harris Hill Raceway on Friday. Other events included Drives to the Hill county, Margaritas in the car park and a BBQ to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis.
There was also a scavenger hunt on the way to Hershal Byrd’s, The Crooked Oak Ranch, for a wonder picnic and BBQ.
The meeting this year was guided by a special cause. The Ohio Cobra Club and the Texas Cobra club combined to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. All donations from the Tailgate Party went straight to the foundation because Jackie from Finishline FL supplied all of the food. The local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation chapter graciously donated items for the raffle and helped with food preparation.
A number of Superformance owners attended this event, the members of the Texas Cobra Club are a fun, dynamic and giving group and we were proud to have been invited to join them at this function.
