Olthoff Racing, a Superformance Dealer, held a fun-filled non-competitive event at the Virginia International Raceway (VIR). The nationally acclaimed track opened it’s gates to the first 100 entries, as an opportunity for drivers to learn more about themselves and their Superformance cars’ capabilities. Dennis Olthoff, the son of the late Bob Olthoff (a race car driver for the original Cobras in England), organized 68 Superformance Cars and 75 drivers to race a 1.65 mile South Course with 8 turns, a 2300 feet straight-away, and 80 feet in elevation change. Owner’s and prospective owners also enjoyed themselves while Dennis took them for an instructed ride around the scenic Virginia Country side track.
